A. Bruce Bielaski

Alexander Bruce Bielaski ( born April 2, 1883 in Montgomery County, Maryland, † February 19, 1964 ) was an American government official. On April 30, 1912 he became the second director of the newly established Bureau of Investigation ( BOI), emerged from the later, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). His office he resigned on 10 February 1919.

In 1904 he graduated from George Washington University in the study of jurisprudence. In the same year he joined the Ministry of Justice of the United States. In Washington Bielaski joined the BOI, where he was the deputy of Stanley Finch was first, before George W. Wickersham Bielaski appointed director.
