A. J. Cook

Andrea Joy " A. J. " Cook ( born July 22, 1978 in Oshawa, Ontario) is a Canadian actress.

Life and career

AJ Cook began at the age of four years with dancing and decided at 17 to become an actress. She was inspired to acting, among other things through the film Dirty Dancing.

Her first appearance as an actress had Cook in a 1997 McDonald's commercial. In 1999, she was then given a role in the feature film The Virgin Suicides. After a starring role in the short-lived television series Higher Ground in 2000 she was seen in the following years mainly in horror films. She played leading roles in Ripper - Letters From Hell and Final Destination 2, 2003 belonged to the main cast of the TV series Tru Calling - reloaded fate, but which was also discontinued after only a short time! . From 2005 to 2010 she starred in the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds as " JJ " a major role. In April 2011, she signed a contract with Criminal Minds again and returned with it in the same role for Season 7 back. In March 2012 she got a role in the found footage horror thriller Who, which was filmed and directed by William Brent Bell in Bucharest.

Cook from August 3, 2001 before her longtime friend Nathan Andersen, whom she met during her time at Utah Valley University, married. 13 September 2008 came their first child together, Mekhai Andersen, was born.

She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints.
