A. J. Pero

Anthony Jew Pero ( born October 14, 1959 in Staten Iceland ) is an American drummer. He plays in the band Twisted Sister and Adrenaline Mob and previously played in the band Cities.

Career

At the age of four years Pero received his first drum set. In 1980 he was one of the founding members of the heavy metal band Cities. Two years later, Pero received a call to join Twisted Sister. With Twisted Sister Pero released four studio albums that have sold more than 20 million times. The most successful work was the album Stay Hungry in 1984, which was awarded in the U.S. with triple platinum. In 1986 Pero Twisted Sister Cities left and returned to back to the same year to publish the first and only album Annihilation Absolute. A year later, Cities dissolved.

Pero was involved in the following years in various projects. In 2000 he played on the solo album Never Let the Bastards Wear You Down the Twisted Sister Dee Snider, singer, ere Twisted Sister reformed a year later. It was followed by two more studio albums. In December 2013, Pero joined the band Adrenaline Mob. Previously, he played a their second studio album Men of Honor.
