A. Scott Sloan

Andrew Scott Sloan (* June 12, 1820 in Morrisville, Madison County, New York, † April 8, 1895 in Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin ) was an American politician. Between 1861 and 1863 he represented the state of Wisconsin in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Scott Sloan was the older brother of Ithamar Sloan (1822-1898), who was also of 1863-1867 the state of Wisconsin in Congress. He attended the common schools and the Morrisville Academy.
