History

Associazione Sportiva Andria BAT was founded in 1971, but not under the present name, but under the name Fidelis Andria. This name kept the club at 34 years before he broke up due to financial problems and a short time later refounded as AS Andria BAT.

After the founding of Fidelis Andria, the club has been classified by the Italian Football Federation in the highest regional league of the Bari region.
