A.S.D. Giallo-Blu Figline

The ASC Figline is an Italian football club from Figline Valdarno, a town in the Tuscany region. The club colors are blue and yellow. As the stadium club serves the Stadio Goffredo Del Buffa in Figline Valdarno, it can accommodate 1,500 spectators.

History

The club was founded in 1965 and took in the first years after the founding of the Seconda Categoria toscana, a Tuscan Amateur League, in part. In 1968, for the first time succeeded in rising in the Prima Categoria and a year later in the toscana Promozione. After only two years, the club could already celebrate the next climb and managed promotion to Serie D. After the team in four years succeeded in consequence of relegation in Serie D, followed by the 1975/76 season as a Table of Girone E of the again descent into Promozione. The team then spent many years in the Tuscan Amateur stock. 1995 was able to be achieved, the rise in the Campionato di Excellenza.

After five years, followed again the team check and fell back to the descent into Promozione toscana. After the rapid resurgence of the team that mattered in the Excellency of the best teams in the Tuscany remained hanging again in the amateur stock. In the years 2004 and 2005 was just missed with the second rank and the following defeats in the play-offs, the rise in the D series. A year later, when he won the Girone B of Excellenza toscana promotion can be realized in the D series, and in 2008 the club managed with the promotion in Lega Pro Seconda Divisione the first time, the rise in a professional league.

The Tuscan team also surprised in the following season and qualified as winners of the Seconda Divisione as a direct climber for the Lega Pro Prima Divisione. After the 2009/10 season, which was completed on the seventh rank, the Association of the club, however, refused to license for participation in the game operating the third- highest division, and classified it into the fifth rate Series D.

The former Italy international Enrico Chiesa was active from 2008 to 2010 at the ASC Figline and is the current coach of the club. The long-time Serie A players Anselmo Robbiati played from 2006 to 2009 also for the Tuscans.
