The Belgian Highway 2, on French Autoroute 2 or Dutch. Autosnelweg 2 called, represents a length of 88 kilometers, one of the main motorway connections from Germany, the Dutch province of Limburg and the Belgian province of Limburg, with the port of Antwerp and the Brussels-Capital Represent was planned in the early 1970s and finished in the middle of this decade.

The highway runs from Heverlee Leuven A3 and E40 Hasselt. At the junction guillemots A2 is crossed by the A13 or E313. In Maasland a green bridge was build in 2004 begun. This connects two nature reserves. In 2005 the building was completed. In the village of stone at the Dutch border, the highway turns into the A76. In the further course of the Dutch A76 leads to Aachen in Germany and then take the A4 to Cologne.
