The motorway ( Rijksweg ) A27 is a motorway in the Netherlands. It begins when Knooppunt Sint- Anna Bosch in the south of Breda and opens at Knooppunt Almere in the A6. The last section was opened to traffic in 1999 between Huizen and Almere. The track serves holiday season many locals to going on holiday to Belgium and France, which is why the volume of traffic at this time is particularly high. Especially on the section between the cross Gorinchem and the bridge over the Lek form regular traffic jams, since there the highway is expanded only four lanes. However, this section will be expanded to six lanes in the coming years.

Many leisure travelers from France and Belgium use the motorway linking in the Netherlands north, particularly in the direction of Friesland.

In 2006, the section between Gorinchem and Noordeloos to one lane has been extended. It had the bridge at Keizersveer, which had already been renewed once in 1978, will be renovated. Then the piece to Knooppunt Everdingen was later expanded.
