Then the highway of the SH3 runs north parallel to the valley of the ores in the places Mullet, Dobresh Bërzhita and over, until it pivots near Mushquta direction Krraba and leaves both the ores and the SH3. Behind Krraba then starts at the boundary of Tirana and Elbasan Qarqe of approximately 2,200 m long Krraba tunnel through the ridge of the Kodrat e Krrabës ( Krraba Hill ).

After the tunnel of the mountain range and the motorway is in the valley of the river Kusha continue towards Elbasan, where she again meets the SH3 at Bradashesh and Shijon and their route from km 30.7 to the end of the new line at the existing roundabout with the SH7 to the railway Durrës - Rrogozhina - Elbasan - Gur i KUQ replaced at km 31.165.

Importance

The section from Tirana to Elbasan will enable after its completion, an alternative to the longer pass road SH3. The new motorway, the main road as an alternative to 80 km further detour via Durres via Rrogozhina.

In addition, the new route is about 15 km shorter than the route via the SH3, so that drastically reduced along with the significantly higher speed, the travel time between Tirana and Elbasan. Economically, it will be after the completion to Tepelenë also an important link between the Albanian capital and Greece.
