The Autoroute A 65 is a French motorway project, which was licensed in 2007 by the government. Construction began in 2008, the opening ceremony took place on December 16, 2010. The highway begins in Langon (Gironde ) and ends in Lescar. The original planned extension between Pau and Oloron has been abandoned.

The A65 motorway is fully funded by the concessionaire, without recourse to public funds. This appropriation is now the expense of EUR 1.2 billion. The construction project covers a total area of 1,490 hectares and contains 160 engineering structures, including 15 viaducts.

Because of its impact on the environment, the project is controversial. In Béarn mountains must be cut and in the department of Landes wetlands to be crossed where protected species live, such as mink or clawed crayfish.
