The A98 is a trunk road in Scotland. It starts east of Fochabers in Moray the region and ends in the city center of Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire and binds to the northern territories of the regions along the Moray Firth to the road network.

Course

Directly east of Fochabers A98 goes on the A96 coming from Inverness, which veers off at this point to southeast direction Aberdeen. It follows the coastline of the Moray Firth and the happening cities Buckie and Portknockie before it reaches Cullen. Buckie and Portnockie are accessible from the A942, which runs right along the coast line and comes off the A98. Further east, extending reach the A98 Portsoy. Between Portsoy and Banff it takes coming from the highlands of Moravia on the A95, cross the Deveron and reaches Macduff. In the further it extends further inland through a sparsely populated region and describes a wide arc back to the Moray Firth. It ends in the center of Fraserburgh on the A90 endpoint.
