Aalbek (Stör)

The Aalbek

The Aalbek is an eastern tributary of the sturgeon in Schleswig -Holstein.

Course

The river has a length of about 13 km. It is located 1 km north-west of Margaret skis at Aalberg the community loop from the confluence of several meadow ditches. It then flows south as the municipal boundary to Ellhorn, where it absorbs water from the Einfelder lake, and turns first east, then west, parallel to the Federal Highway 7 to the south, through the village Wasbek and flows south from Ehndorf in the sturgeon.

Trivia

The artificial Silver Lake, which is located just off the A7, was temporarily drained by the Aalbek.
