Aalborgtårnet

The Aalborgtaarnet ( Aalborgtårnet, tårn Danish: "Tower ") is a 1933 observation tower erected in Aalborg (Denmark) with a tower restaurant on its top in 54.9 meters above the ground. The Aalborgtarnet has been designed as a steel truss tower somewhat unusual design. It consists of three steel truss columns which are connected to each other just above half the height. In 2005 the tower was very carefully refurbished. The whole restaurant was taken using a crane from the tower structure down and parts of the steel structure were replaced.
