History
The company was founded in 1988 through the acquisition of the heating and air-conditioning technology department of the John Zink Company. The subsidiary AAON Coil Products, Inc. was founded in 1991 through the acquisition of the coils Plus, Inc., based in Longview, Texas.
Products
AAON designs and manufactures various systems for air conditioning. There are facilities for mounting on rooftops made , as independent systems for indoor use. Condensers and refrigeration systems and air conditioners and dehumidifiers for indoor swimming pools are also sold by AAON.
