Aargauer Zeitung

The Aargau newspaper is a Swiss daily newspaper.

It was formed in 1996 from a merger of Aargau Baden daily paper and daily paper and belongs to AZ Medien AG. The editorial team is based in Aarau, where the newspaper is printed. The circulation is 89'119 copies sold (after WEMF 2013). Since January 2002 the Aargau newspaper was part of Midlands Newspaper, this composite was renamed in September 2010 in az total output and in September 2012 in Northwestern Switzerland.

The local reporting is carried out in five different editions for the regions Aarau / Lenzburg / Wynental / Suhrental, Baden, Zurzach / Brugg, free office and the Frick valley.
