Aaron Jeffery

Aaron C. Jeffery ( born August 25, 1970 in Howick, Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealand actor.

Life and career

At age 17, he moved to Australia and studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art ( NIDA ). After graduating in 1993, he played duration roles in several Australian television series, including in Water Rats - The Hafencops.

After he was harassed and attacked by a stalker, Jeffery interrupted his acting career and worked on a farm in New South Wales, while he casually studied theology.

In 2001 he returned to the Australian series McLeod's Daughters back facing the camera and plays it to 2008, the role of Alex Ryan.

Jeffery was married to Melinda Medich and has a daughter. The marriage broke up in late 2005. Jeffery was with his colleague Michelle Langstone dating ( she played the role of his fiancée and later wife Fiona ), who he met on the set of McLeod's Daughters. After Michelle Langstone but got out of this series and then moved away, they separated because of the distance. Meanwhile, he is in a relationship with his fellow actress Zoe Naylor, who also starred in the series. With her he got in June 2012 his second daughter Sophia Jade.

Aaron Jeffery was as the most popular actor in the years won the Silver Logie in 2004 and 2007 at the Logie Awards and was nominated for in 2005, each for McLeod's Daughters.

Jeffery plays the main role in the new Australian crime series The Strip.
