Aaron Ness

Aaron Ness (born 18 May 1990 in Roseau, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player standing since 2011 with the New York Islanders in the National Hockey League under contract and playing in parallel for their farm team Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

Career

Aaron Ness has already been selected as a player at the high school in 2008 NHL Entry Draft in the second round than a total of 40 players from the New York Islanders. Afterwards, however, he first attended for three years, the University of Minnesota, for their hockey team he was parallel in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association active. Towards the end of the 2010/11 season his debut gave the defender for the farm team of the Islanders, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, in professional hockey when he was in the American Hockey League scored a goal and three assists in 13 games. In the following season he was the first time for the Islanders in the National Hockey League on the ice, where he remained no points in nine games. The majority of the playing time he spent but again with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the AHL.

Internationally

For the U.S., Ness took part in the U18 World Youth Championship 2008, where he won the bronze medal with his team.
