Aaron Volpatti

Aaron Volpatti (born 30 May 1985 in Revelstoke, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since February 2013 at the Washington Capitals in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Aaron Volpatti began his career as a hockey player with the Vernon Vipers, for which he was active from 2003 to 2006 in the Canadian Junior Football League British Columbia Hockey League. He then attended four years at Brown University, for their hockey team he played in parallel in the ECAC Hockey. On March 22, 2010, the winger signed a contract as a free agent with the Vancouver Canucks, for which at that time the farm team Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League, he gave towards the end of the 2009/10 season his debut in professional hockey, in a total of 13 when he playing two goals and an assist achieved. In the season 2010/11 the Canadians made ​​his debut for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League, in 15 games for which he scored a goal and an assist each. In parallel, he continued to play mainly for the Manitoba Moose in the AHL.
