Aart Vierhouten

Aart Vierhouten ( born March 19, 1970 in Ermelo ) is a former Dutch cyclist.

Aart Vierhouten 1996 professional cyclist. He competed at the Olympic Games in Atlanta and finished the road race 56th place He drove six years with Rabobank, before joining the lottery. In 1997 he won a stage of the Rheinland -Pfalz- tour, and in 2000 he was able to celebrate his first overall success in Groningen Minster. At the Tour de France four times so far Houten took part, nine times at UCI Road World Championships. As of 2006 he rode for the Dutch cycling team Skil- Shimano.

End of the 2009 season ended Vierhouten his career. Today ( 2013) he is a Dutch national coach of the junior / road and cycling commentator on Dutch television.
