The Aass Bryggeri ( German Aass Brewery ) is the largest and oldest existing brewery in Norway.

The brewery was founded in 1834 in Drammen on the banks of the River Drammen River. The brewery site was not changed since then. The name got the brewery when it was bought in 1860 by Poul Lauritz Aass ( 1836-1904 ). The company is more than 150 years later, still owned by the Aass family. The Director Terje Aass (as of 2007). 1869 has started with the production of mineral water. The world 's largest Olhone, a traditional Norwegian drinking vessel in the shape of a hen is owned by the brewery. It can hold 603 liters, weighs 234.7 kg, is 2.98 meters long, 1.25 meters wide and 1.8 meters high. The record is registered with the Guinness Book of World Records.
