Aat (queen)

Aat ( the older, fuller name perhaps: Chenmet - nefer - hedjet - aat ) was an ancient Egyptian queen and wife of Amenemhat III. (reigned about 1842-1795 BC). She is known mainly for its burial inside the pyramid of the ruler at Dahshur. This pyramid showed early defects of a building and was therefore abandoned as a potential burial of the king. Instead, here several queens were buried, among which was also Aat. She carried the title " king consort ", " His Beloved King 's Wife", " member of the elite " and "United with the White Crown". Your name and title are known from the remains of a false door and an offering table. The remains of her body indicate that she was about 35 years old.
