Style

Aavikko plays catchy and danceable lounge retro supermarket music. The musicians themselves describe their style as Muysic or Casio Core and gave the motto: " We play - you dance ."

A characteristic feature is the occupation with a very precise playing human drummer, who is supported by the pre-stored rhythms and sounds of electronic instruments. The result may sound cheap ( and should), but shows intelligent planning and composition.
