Abaeté River

The Rio Abaeté is an approximately 270 km long river in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. It rises da Canastra about 20 kilometers north of São Gotardo in the mountain range Serra. Then, his course leads north through the typical rolling hills of Minas Gerais. Finally, north of the Três Marias Reservoir it flows into the Rio São Francisco.
