Abahani Limited (Dhaka)
Abahani Ltd. Dhaka is a sports club based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently the club plays in the top league in the country, the B. League. Its home games carry the football players from the National Stadium in Bangladesh. In addition to the football department, the club has also a cricket and hockey department, both of which are very successful. The club in 1972 as Abahani Krira Chakra (: Abahani sports club dt ) was founded. With 10 league titles and four cup victories is the football team one of the most successful clubs in the country. Since 1989 the club has been transformed into a company with the present name Abahani Ltd.. Dhaka. Abahani, 2007 was the first winner of the newly founded professional football league as League.
