The Abakan airport is the international airport of the Russian city of Abakan, Republic of Khakassia, Siberia. The airport is located on the outskirts of Abakan, 4.5 km northwest of the city center.

The airport is served by the Sibaviatrans and Vladivostok Avia in scheduled passenger service. He is also the headquarters of the airline Abakan -Avia. Objectives that are served by Abakan from, among other things, Moscow - Vnukovo, Norilsk and Vladivostok.

The airport is used by several cargo airlines. It has a passenger and a cargo terminal.

Abakan 1938, the airline was founded to build an airplane operating in the autonomous region of Khakassia. It also ran the airport. On 1 March 1993, the airline and the airport were divided into two independent companies. The airport has since been trading under the name Airport Abakan. In 1996, the airport was privatized as a joint stock company.
