Abana (Kastamonu)

Abana is a town and district in the province of Kastamonu, Turkey. Abana is located on the Black Sea coast and is an important tourist destination of the province. The population swells in the summer of 3500 to 20,000. The size of the district is 31 km ².

The district is located in the northeast of the province, it borders to the west and south by Bozkurt, on the east by Çatalzeytin and in the north to the Black Sea.
