Abaza TV

Abaza TV (Russian Абаза ТВ ) is the first non-state TV stations in the internationally recognized by only a few States the Republic of Abkhazia. It was founded in 2007 by the Abkhaz businessman Beslan Butba and has its headquarters in the capital Sukhumi. Abaza TV broadcasts mainly in Russian, partly on Abkhazian. The transmitter has a network of correspondents and it is working with Al Jazeera and Russia Today together. However, in contrast to the Abkhaz state TV transmitter is not available in all parts of the country.
