Abbottabad

Abbottabad ( Urdu ایبٹ آباد [ ɛ ː ː bʌʈɑ bɑ ː d]) is a city in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (formerly NWFP ). It is located 50 kilometers in a straight line north of the capital Islamabad at an altitude of 1256 meters above sea level. The city is the administrative center of the district of Abbottabad. History
