Abdel Rahim Mohammed Hussein 's Minister of Defence of the Republic of Sudan.

Biography

From 2001 to 2005 he was Minister of the Interior, until he resigned in order to gain his current post again. During his tenure as Minister of the Interior, he opened the Al- Rabat University. In later years, he was charged with the support of the Janjaweed and war crimes. These allegations were denied by him and the government.

On 2 December 2011, the prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo requested the International Criminal Court, the Pre-Trial Chamber of the Court to issue an arrest warrant against Abdel Rahim Mohammed Hussein for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

On 1 March 2012, the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant against him.
