Abderrahime Bouramdane

Abderrahime Bouramdane ( born June 23, 1978 in Fes ) is a Moroccan marathon runner.

Inspired by his compatriot Rhadi Ben Abdesselam, who won the silver medal in the marathon at the 1960 Olympic Games, Bouramdane began in 1995 with the running.

He won the 2004 Tunis - Marathon and the 2005 Marrakech Marathon. In 2006 he won the Ottawa Marathon in a curious way. A 14 athletes extensive top group was misguided and so shortened the distance to 400 meters from accidentally. Bouramdane came first runner, who had run the correct route in 2:12:17 h to the target and was subsequently declared the winner. The runners ahead of him were not included in the official standings.
