Abdiso Brika bar

Abdiso bar Brika ( Ebedjesus; cAbdīšōc ) ( * before 1291, † 1318 ) was since 1291 at the latest Metropolitan of Nisibis and Armenia, the " Church of the East ."

He wrote in Syriac Bible commentaries, polemics against heresies and dogmatic and legal writings. He also wrote texts in metrical form, including an author catalog, which has fundamental importance for the Syrian literary history.
