Abdollah Mojtabavi
Sayed Abdollah Mojtabavi (Persian عبدالله مجتبوی, born January 4, 1925 in Tehran, † 13 January 2012) was an Iranian wrestler.
Life and career
Abdollah Mojtabavi stepped on in freestyle and won at the European Championships 1949 in Istanbul silver in the weight category up to 67 kg. The Wrestling World Championships 1951, he won the bronze medal in the welterweight division to 73 kg. In the same weight class, he also took the bronze medal at the Summer Olympics in Helsinki in 1952 behind by Berlin ( Sweden) and Bill Smith (USA).
Abdollah Mojtabavi died on 13 January 2012 at the age of 87 years.
