Abdoulay Konko ( born March 9, 1984 in Marseille ) is a French football player. His father is from Senegal and his mother from Morocco.
Career
Konko began his career in the youth from FC Martigues, where he was sold to the major Italian club Juventus in 2002. The old lady gave the midfielder for FC Crotone first, where he played for two years and had his first professional assignments. In 2006 he went to Siena, where he made his debut in Serie A on September 10, 2006 against AC Chievo Verona. Siena won 2-1 and Konko came on in the 64th minute for Luca Antonini.
In the next season Konko was at Genoa under contract. For the Genoese, he was a regular player and managed to avoid relegation in Serie A.
2008, then went to Spain. Abdoulay Konko signed for Sevilla FC, where he was allowed to play for the first time internationally. The Frenchman played in the first leg against Red Bull Salzburg by 18 September 2008. Sevilla won 2-0. The debut in the Primera División he gave on 31 August 2008 against Racing Santander. Again played by Konko.
On 21 January 2011, announced that Konko changes to Genoa. In July 2011, Lazio announced the commitment of Konko.
