Abdul Halim Sharar

Abdul Halim Sharar (* 1860 in Lucknow, † 1926) was an Indian essayist, historian and novelist who wrote in Urdu.

Guzishta Lucknow

Guzishta Lucknow, his historical work on the Indian city of Lucknow (Lucknow ) in the late period of the Mughal Empire, found in the English translation by Colonel ES Harcourt and Fakhir Hussain inclusion in the UNESCO collection of representative works. It first appeared in installments in the founded and edited by Abdul Halim Sharar Urdu literary magazine Dil Gudaz.
