Abell 1689

Abell 1689 is one of the Earth 2.2 billion light-years (670 Mpc ) distant clusters of galaxies in the constellation Virgo, which is one of the most massive objects known in the universe. Abell 1689 is used as a gravitational lens due to its large gravitational effect of researchers and enabled such as the discovery of A1689 - Zd1, a 13 billion year old galaxy ( z ≈ 7.6 ). The visible mass of Abell 1689 does not appear to just one percent of the observed gravitational effect of, thereby maintaining the currently much-discussed questions about dark matter further substance.
