Abera Kuma

Abera Kuma ( born August 31, 1990 in Ambo ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner.

In 2009 he was junior African champion over 5000 meters. The following year he was at the World Cross Country Championships in Bydgoszcz in 2010 to 17th place and won with the Ethiopian team bronze. A victory in the 10 - km run the Tilburg Ten Miles was followed by a second place at the Zevenheuvelenloop.

In 2011 he was disqualified at the World Cross Country Championships in Punta Umbria, after he had been beaten with the Eritreans Samuel Tsegay at the finish line. As an Ethiopian champion in the 5000m he went to the World Athletics Championships in Daegu and was over this distance there fifth.
