Aberdeenshire West (Scottish Parliament constituency)

Aberdeenshire West is a constituency of the Scottish Parliament. It was introduced in 2011 as one of ten constituencies of North East Scotland electoral region, which was cut in the new part of the revision of constituencies in 2011 and expanded from nine to ten constituencies. Here, the constituency of Aberdeenshire West was formed from parts of the former constituencies Gordon and West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine. It includes western areas of the Council Area Aberdeenshire with the towns of Ballater, Banchory and Huntly. The constituency appoint a deputy.
