Abergement-le-Grand
Abergement- le -Grand is a small French village with 61 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Jura department in the Franche -Comté. It belongs administratively to the district of Lons -le -Saunier and the canton of Arbois, a member of the Association of Municipalities Communauté de communes of Arbois, Vignes et Villages - Pays de Louis Pasteur.
Geography
The municipality is situated approximately 25 kilometers southeast of Dole. It is bordered to the north by Mathenay, on the northeast by Vadans, on the southeast by Abergement -le- Petit, on the south by Grozon, on the southwest by Motholier and to the west by Aumont.
At the southeastern edge of the municipality of Bach Grozonne which ultimately results in the river Orain runs.
