Geography

Naming

The name Abersee goes back to the early Middle Ages and is already documented 788 first documented as " Abriani lacus " as a designation for the Wolfgangsee. History

1874 room school was founded in Zinkenbach who visited at the beginning of about 50 students. As a teaching facility and classroom functioned at the beginning of the dance hall in the local mill. Only a year later, a newly built school building was opened.

Traffic
