Abertam cheese
Abertam is a sheep's milk cheese, originally from Abertamy ( German: Abertham ) comes from, where he formerly was already famous as Tamer But goat cheese with herbs. He is still in the north- west Bohemia, in the Erzgebirge, in the surroundings of Karlovy Vary, only in the grazing period of sheep on the peaks of the surrounding mountains - produced in small quantities for the regional market - from spring to autumn. The intensely flavored, hard cheese (45 % fat ) is offered in the form of a 500 g ball and matured for two months before the sale.
