Abihud

Abihud are two mentioned by name in the Bible men.

Abihud in the Old Testament

Abihud is mentioned in 1 Chronicles. He was a great grandson of Jacob, grandson of Jacob's youngest son Benjamin, son of Benjamin's eldest son Bela.

Abihud in the New Testament

In the second part of the Holy Scriptures, the New Testament is a second Abihud found in the Gospel of Matthew. Here he is listed in the genealogy of Jesus, the son of a man named Zerubbabel and father of Eliakim. Abihud lived about 500 years before the birth of Christ.
