Abitinae

Abitinae is the name of an ancient city that lay in the Roman province of Africa proconsularis (today northern Tunisia).

The city was a bishopric, which was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Carthage; this goes back to the titular Abitinae. Among the martyrs of Abitinae see martyrs of the sacred books.
