Aboisso

Region

Abiosso the capital of Aboisso Department is in the West African country Ivory Coast ( Côte d' Ivoire), which is located in the Sud- Comoé region. The city's population is primarily composed of members of the Anyi Sanwi (ethnic group) together, this is a part of the Akaner. The city was a part of the Kingdom Sanwi ( Krindjabo ). Abiosso also served as a support and the starting point after the expeditions by Marcel Treich - Laplènes in the Ivory Coast. In the city there is the Aboisso Airport.
