Abraham Chebii (Abraham Kosgei Chebii; born December 23, 1979 in Kaptabuk at Kapsowar, Marakwet District, Rift Valley Province ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner.

After graduating from the Marakwet High School, he received a place at the Kenyatta University, but could not afford the tuition fees and therefore turned to running to. In 2003, he won the Kenyan eliminator over 5000 m for the World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis, but was plagued in the rest of the season by a calf injury and came at the World Championships to fifth place.

In the next season, he won the national qualifying contest for the World Cross Country Championships, but came because of discomfort in the knee only in 19th place and won with the Kenyan team bronze. After the knee was healed, he qualified in the 5000m for the Olympic Games in Athens. Shortly before, but the calf injury broke out again, so that although he survived the lead, in the final, however, did not reach the target.

In 2005 he won at the World Cross Country Championships silver in both the single and in the team competition. In 2007 and 2008 he won the Great Ireland Run. In 2009 he won the Würzburg Residenz run and was second in the Parelloop.
