Abraham Tolentino

Abraham Ng Tolentino ( born February 23, 1964 in Tagaytay City ) is a Filipino politician ( Lakas Kampi CMD) and official.

Life

Abraham N. Tolentino attended the San Sebastian College - Recoletos, Manila ( SSC -R Manila ) in the district of Sampaloc Manila.

Mayor

Abraham Tolentino, who is also known by the nickname Bambol, is the mayor of the Philippine city of Tagaytay City. He is a member of the party Lakas Kampi Christian Muslim Democrats ( CMD Lakas Kampi ). From 1986 to 1992 and from 1995 to 2004 his older brother Francis Tolentino was mayor of Tagaytay City. Francis Tolentino is now chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority ( MMDA ).

After the 2007 election Mayor Abraham Tolentino was sued by rival candidates and the electoral commission because they were of the view in the sealing of ballot irregularities had occurred by Nachnominierungen election workers. The action was dismissed on appeal as unfounded.

Sports official

Abraham Tolentino is the Secretary General of the Philippine Chess Federation. He is also president of FIDE Zone 3.3, which includes the chess federations of Brunei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Cambodia, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

He is also chairman of the Philippine Cycling Cycling Phil organization and member of the Executive Committee of the Asian Cycling Confederation ( the ACC ).
