Abstract Rude (* as Aaron Pointer) is a rapper from Los Angeles. He is the MC of the group Abstract Tribe Unique ( consisting of himself, Zulu (dancer / Drums ), DJ Drez ( Beats) and Fat Jack (producer )) and a member of the formations The A-Team ( with Aceyalone ), Haiku D'Etat ( with Aceyalone and Mykah -9) and code Name: Scorpion (along with Prevail and Moka Only.

Artistic Career

Ever since early childhood, Abstract Rude interested in Black music, such as blues, jazz, soul, funk, groove, reggae, RNB and with time for hip-hop. Initially, he wrote only for himself and his friends rap lyrics, but in the early 90s, he began to appear in the nearby Project Blowed. There he met, among others Zulu DJ Drez know, who were known as dancers group called Tribe Unique. Since both were convinced of his talent as an MC, they joined forces with him and formed so Abstract Tribe Unique ( ATU often abbreviated ). Over time, Abstract Rude also attracted the attention of Fat Jack, a well-known independent producers. He also joined ATU and produced almost all future albums and other releases of the group. In 1995, Abstract Rude executive producer of Project Blowed tapes, which served as a kind of sampler of the Project Blowed artists such as Freestyle Fellowship and CVE. Abstract Rude contributed some features himself and was also represented in some solo tracks on the tape. It is believed that he established close contacts with Aceyalone at this time. In the same year also Southcentral Thynk Taynk appeared at the Ocean Floor Records, which has persisted in this concept and was praised by critics and fans of the alternative hip-hop alike. In 2000, Abstract Rude was represented at the Cater to the DJ Compilation of Fat Jack and brought together with Aceyalone as The A-Team Album Who framed the A-Team out. 2001 the next ATU- album called PAINT was published on BattleAxe Records. This album is still considered by many fans today as the high point in terms of creativity, atmosphere and lyrical diversity of ATU. 2003 then appeared the so far last album of ATU called Showtyme then followed from 2002 to 2004, the three albums Making Tracks, Making More Tracks and Still Making Tracks by Abstract Rude, the unreleased songs, and songs that have appeared on any regular ATU- album included him. 2005 produced Abstract Rude together with the German MC Taktloss the These Walls EP appeared on FDB records and global tyranny and oppression themed. Style
