Abu Musa

Abu Musa (Persian ابوموسی; Abu Musa and Abu Mussa or Gap Sabzu ) is an island in the eastern part of the Persian Gulf.

The island of Abu Musa is also its name to the eponymous district of the Iranian province of Hormozgan, the still from five other islands is (wholesale Tunb, small Tunb, wholesale Farur, small Farur, and Siri ). The island is about 12 km ² in size and has 1868 inhabitants, which they usually گپسبزو ( Gap sabzu ) call with the Persian name (in German about " great green place "). Conflict Iran / United Arab Emirates

There is a dispute over Abu Musa area between Iran and the United Arab Emirates. There is no general agreement, belongs to which country Abu Musa. Military zone
