Abulfeda (crater)

Abulfeda is an impact crater in the southeast moon front page. It is located southwest of the crater Descartes and northeast of Almanon. The southern edge of the crater chain tangent Catena Abulfeda runs in a southeasterly direction.

Its diameter amounts to approximately 62 kilometers.

The crater was named in 1935 by the IAU by the Syrian geographer Abu l - Fida ( 1273-1331 ).
