Abulites

Abulites († 324 BC) was a Persian governor ( satrap ) of the Achaemenids at Susa.

Abulites ' son Oxathres in command on October 1, 331 BC, the levy of the Susiana in the Battle of Gaugamela against Alexander the Great. After the defeat of the Persians and the flight of the Great King Darius III. in the east Abulites submitted in December 331 BC the Conqueror. In Susa was first Oropios and shortly afterwards the Macedonians Koinos used as the new satrap.
