The company Abus Crane Systems GmbH (proper spelling: ABUS Crane Systems ) is a German manufacturer of overhead cranes, the company is located in Gummersbach.

History

The ABUS Crane Systems KG was founded in 1965 by Werner stage and is now one of Europe's leading manufacturers of overhead cranes. The Abus program includes transport systems for the load range of 80 kg to 100 tonnes. Approximately 6,000 systems and 14,000 crane lifting systems are produced per year.

Company structure

Abus maintains production facilities for jib cranes and monorail systems in Marie Heath Rodt, for traveling cranes in Gummersbach- Lantenbach and in Gummersbach Business Park Sonnenberg. A development, testing and training center is located at the site Marie Heath.

In Germany there are 19 factory representatives at 36 locations service centers are entertained. In Europe, six subsidiaries are guided, in addition, the distribution over 17 partner companies is done. A separate office will also maintain in Shanghai, to 27 more partners arrive worldwide.
